Trivia
- This card may have been based off and expanded from Fossil Excavation, a card from Series 1 of the Vending collection.
- Fossil Excavator is one of the only Supporter cards in the TCG with a name in which the second word is not a possessive of the first word, the others being Professor Rowan and Rival.
Origin
The ability to excavate fossils was introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as a minigame in the Sinnoh Underground.
