:Um, yes there is. It's not as apparent as on Delcatty, but still. Did you check the Gen III sprites? Right on its forehead. Round yellow spot
It says in the Trivia section that Delcatty has a round yellow spot only in Gen III games. This is not mentioned in the Skitty article, but Skitty has the same thing. I am pretty sure, however, that this is just a reflection of light which is common in sprites of Gen III (to give a third dimension to the sprites).
