I'm unsure of the 'Dan' part, but I do know that 'goro' could be derived from 'goron goron', Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a boulder or a rock rolling down. ...And that's really all I can offer. There's an alloy in SSBB that looks very similar to this. Should that be noted? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 14:07, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Evolution
- I know this is pure speculation and shouldn't go in the article, but it greatly resembles the eye of Gigaisu with rock chips around it, as well as being a pure rock type with the ability Sturdy. Pokébeach also have a Isshu Pokedex listing which shows that Gigaisu has two prevolutions, so it's next to confirmed that this Pokémon is related. MAMOSWINEPwnz!
