Trivia
- Butterfly Dance, along with Coil Around and Shell Smash, are the only moves that raise three stats at once.
- Doredia is the only Pokémon that can learn this move that is not based on a butterfly or moth, or is part Template:Type2. It also learns the move at the lowest level among all Pokémon that learn it.
- Despite the name being Butterfly Dance, only two of the Pokémon that learn it are actually based on butterflies; the rest, minus Doredia, are based on moths.
