This seems to have enough content in order to be its own article. MaverickNate 01:23, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I beg to differ... ht14 22:01, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
I agree. This is information that could be much desired in the actual Rocket Executives and Administrators article. That one is much lacking information, while this one has it, but no battle stats like that one does. They should be merged.Satosuke 18:01, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Merge. -LugiaRocks (TalkEdits) 21:14, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I say keep it. I think this article stands well enough on its own for the trainer class. The other page covers stuff outside the games. --The Great Butler 03:00, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
I say <answer>Merge</answer> ;). —RockSmashGuy 03:35, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree to merge as well. While it does have enough info to be its own page, one simply cannot live without the other, and both pages would benefit from a merger.--Bonslywizard10 16:30, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Annie and Oakley

Annie and Oakley don't belong here in the Anime section. According to Bulbapedia's manual, if the English version contradicts the Japanese version, then we go with the Japanese version. Zanner and Lions are NEVER indicated to be part of Team Rocket in the Japanese version of Movie 5. They're just jewel thieves. Why the heck are we including them here? Satosuke 21:06, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Because we are the English wiki, and it is our job to report what was stated in the English versions. That's why we have Misty's Song as evidence in the PokéShipping article. --ケンジガール 07:54, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Other Executives

Should we put party tables for them?--KukiTalk 19:39, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes. But someone needs to extract the Executives' sprites first. Chocolate 19:40, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Check out the PCS to-do list for new info--KukiTalk 19:41, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
I did. But you should've said that on my talk page. Chocolate 19:45, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

true--KukiTalk 19:47, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Lance

Lance? A Rocket Executive? This must be a mistake, no? Or did I miss something?Satosuke 14:41, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

My Bad. Of course - Wataru is not an executive, but apparently there's a new guy Lance as well in the Japanese version. Silly me, jumping to conclusions because of a same name in different language versions...Satosuke 14:43, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
I dun think they will call Rocket Executive Lance as Lance in the English version. Maybe other name to not confuse players and/or fans. Wataru is still the Champion of Johto!--Ruixiang95 09:25, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Merging?

I think merging will wait till HeartGold/SoulSilver's tema is comfirmed. But it will be too long. I think it's best to put it like this.

Eg. [

Pokémon

Yellow's Team

2 or 4 in G/S/C?

This is just too confusing. This article says there are only two in G/S/C, yet each of the articles on the four from HG/SS say that all four are present in G/S/C. So are there 2 or 4 in G/S/C? --HoennMaster 02:45, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

That's stupid... Apollo and Athena both have more than one G/S/C battle, but Lambda and Lance don't. R.A. Hunter Blade 12:43, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
That's because they all had same sprites. If you read the other articles closely, you'd see that. Even if Lance's appearance is pretty unclear (because he got merged with the grunt from Slowpoke Well, which doesn't prevent him from being the same Executive from GSC). In Lambda's case, however, it's pretty obvious. He appears in the same places and same Pokémon. Even if the creators didn't intend him to look like that in Gen. II, now they do and this is canon. Really, you should stop thinking that everything that looks like a change must be a retcon. It's actually a good explanation of an ambiguous element in GSC. There was obviously three different male Executives (and one female, no problem here) with no identity and no names, who were given names and own designs in Gen. IV. If you played GSC closely and didn't just sweep them, without noticing who they are, you would see that they can't be one and the same Executive (they would have to be bilocal). The Executive situation in GSC was ambiguous enough, we didn't know who they were at all. HGSS EXPLAINED it, expanded the plot on, if you played both games closely, you'd see that NOTHING IS RETCONNED (except Lance and Slowpoke Well grunt "merged"). Also the fact that the article stated that they were two Executives was just a misconception. I simply forgot to edit this article. We should have a policy on "never believe the other article if two article contradict". I've seen really MANY instances of REAL information being "corrected" just because two articles contradicted and someone assumed that article X is right, while article Y is wrong (in fact, it was opposite). Bulbapedia should never be a source for itself. --Maxim 13:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Besides, who in their right mind would think there really were only two Executives in total in Generation II? If "the" male were posing as the Director and "the" female were guarding the broadcast booth, then who's in the broadcast booth running the jamming signal? By the reasoning of anyone that actually believed there were exactly two Rocket Executives in the Generation II games, there was probably only one Bug Catcher, one Youngster, one Lass, one Beauty, and so on and so forth in Generation I days...--Shiningpikablu252 14:35, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
You actually think that the kids these games are aimed for actually took time to think about that? Definitely not. --HoennMaster 18:10, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Stupid excuse. They might still put it on purpose, for more experienced fans to notice it. It's not that it'll confuse those "kids" after all. They didn't have to do HGSS at all. If all they care about are the kids, why don't they make something brand-new with new Pokémon that'd attract the kids more? GSC and HGSS Executives fit so well that it's practically obvious that they DID intend to make them the same characters. The games being aimed for kids don't have anything to do with this, honestly. --Maxim 20:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I never said they did, nor am I making an excuse. Simply pointing out that the main target audience isn't going to take the time to figured out whether or not they were just two back then. Infact, I doubt anyone did. --HoennMaster 04:24, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

HGSS Edit

It's apparently been renamed simply "Executive." Like with Bell Tower, a heads-up so the page can be monitored until Sunday. --The Great Butler 05:06, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Jessie and James

What is Jessie and James doing in this article? They're not executives, they're bumbling idiots. --SeanWheeler 20:51, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Ever hear of a wonderful game called Pokémon Yellow? Play it and you'll get your answer. And besides that, games don't always follow the anime, and vice versa. --Psyライダー 21:03, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I know about Pokémon Yellow, and I heard that you battle Jessie and James, but was there any in game text that says they are executives? They may be major enemies, but still.--SeanWheeler 01:24, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

See Team_Rocket_executives_and_administrators#Pok.C3.A9mon_Yellow for the justification used. —darklordtrom 07:40, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Name

The trainer class is now called Executive. "Rocket Executive" should be noted as the Gen II name, like on the article for Fisherman. Flicky1991 22:23, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
