Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage plus 20 more damage; if tails, this attack does 10 damage.

Flames of Rage いかりのほのお 40+

Discard 2 Energy cards attached to Arcanine in order to use this attack. This attack does 40 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Arcanine.

Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was given out in a Toyota auto campaign in October 1997. Later, this Japanese print was released as part of the Pokémon Song Best Collection CD. The English version of the card was released through Pokémon card leagues in March 2000.

Trivia

The Arcanine included in the Pokémon Song Best Collection CD has the same illustration as the best cd. There is no way to differentiate between the two without the original packaging.

Origin

Quick Attack is a move in the Pokémon games, though Arcanine cannot learn it.
