Meet the cast and crew: Junichi Masuda

  • Midori Harada (Japanese: 原田みどり) has been an illustrator for various Pokémon materials and merchandise since 1996, including, but not limited to, Pokémon Trading Card Game illustrations, Gold & Silver Tales storybook illustrations, and various regional maps used in Generations III and IV.
  • Harada is known for her style, called Aire Verte, of calm European landscapes, which has carried into many of her works for Pokémon. One of the cards she has illustrated (Mismagius) features Paris, France as the background.
  • Harada's favorite Pokémon is Cubone.
