(Japanese: ルリ Ruri), otherwise known under the screen name (Japanese: ルッコ Rukko), is a character that appears in Black 2 and White 2. She is the female counterpart to Tetsu.
In the games
Ruri is first encountered after Kyouhei picks up the Forgotten Item (Xtransceiver) in Nimbasa City and calls its owner. She would identify herself as Ruri and hastily thanks the protagonist before being called to work by her seniors.
The player can call Ruri every other day at Nimbasa City and receive calls at specific locations around Unova. After exchanging several phone calls, Ruri would note that her work involves traveling to Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh from time to time. The player's relation with Ruri increases as calls are made or received.
At the tenth call, Ruri would inform the player that she is finally free from work and would like to retrieve her Xtransceiver back in Nimbasa City. After the thirtieth call, the player may join Ruri in a ride at the Rondez-View Ferris Wheel. After the fiftieth call, the player can review Ruri's occupation and trade Pokémon with her. Pokémon traded from her have Hidden Abilities, are at level 50, and have no predetermined nature. It is possible to receive multiples of the same species.
Ruri appears in the game television shows.

Trivia
- Ruri is the only non-player character to have an opposite gender counterpart. She shares this with her male counterpart Tetsu.
- This is most likely because her appearance depends on whether or not the player character is male or female.
