If a Pokemon that is normally immune to spikes (say anything with flying) is forced to the ground while it's out (i.e. Smack Down), does it take the damage of Spikes, or do the Spikes only kick in upon sending a Pokemon out? Spikes+Sleep Powder

Forced to the ground
If a Pokemon that is normally immune to spikes (say anything with flying) is forced to the ground while it's out (i.e. Smack Down), does it take the damage of Spikes, or do the Spikes only kick in upon sending a Pokemon out? Schiffy (talk) 15:11, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
