This user supports a "RedxLyra Pairing" /Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire remake speculation
To fix the save problem on a Pokemon Gold Silver or Crystal: Cut a 2-1/4" peice of electrical tape and place it center under the bottom tab. Put the battery on top and wrap around. Be sure the "+" is facing up and the tabs are on the proper sides making contact. Then get another peice of tape and wrap around the circuit board partly. You may or may not need this depending how tight it is already. There is a diode on the upper left part of the board that is easily noticable, you don't want to cover that, as that affects the clock. Now put the cart back together. It may be a bit tight. If you physically cannot shut it remove that extra peice of tape you wrapped around the cart, it isn't needed. Start a new game, save, remove the cart from the gameboy, wait an hour, check and if the save held you did it properly, if not try again.

I am 16. I've loved Pokemon File:Spr 2c 133.gif since I was about 5 or so. Ever since I saw Pokémon, I Choose You!.
I loved it. I posses most of the games including a fake one. I got my Pearl stolen at school. I intend 2 collect EVERY pokemon game there is. And I will keep them 'till I die, I will have them pass down 2 my kids. They will heirlooms.
