Ripple

(Japanese: リップル Ripple) is a character of the day who appeared in BW125.

Ripple is a jewel collector who displayed her collection after the Marine Cup Tournament. Another jewel collector, a Gentleman named Shoal, comes up and shows great interest in her Eye of Liepard and starts making offers for it. Naturally, however, Ripple declined each time. After the tournament, Ripple finds the jewel stolen from her collection, and accuses Shoal of stealing it since he was shown to have broken in to her room on the security camera. However, upon further inspection, it was revealed that when Shoal entered the room, the jewel was already taken; he only trespassed for the purpose of getting another look at the Eye of Liepard. Ripple and Shoal come to good terms after the real criminal was revealed to be a participant in the tournament named Tide.

Purrloin is Ripple's main Pokémon. Before anyone in the Eye of Liepard investigation knew, it found out that Tide was responsible for the theft of the jewel. It was able to help Cilan, the volunteer detective in the mystery, though at first, he, having a fear of its species, would frantically shoo it away.

None of Purrloin's moves are known.

Watchog is used by Ripple as a guard for the room she keeps her jewel collection in. Shoal, wanting to get another look at Ripple's jewels, knocked it out with his Roselia to get in.
