Release information

This card was awarded to the top three competitors from each age division in the TCG event, and the top four competitors from each category in the Video Game event at the 2010 Japan World Championship representative tournament (equivalent of the National Championships outside Japan). The initial qualifying stage was again held in all 47 prefectures, with the second stage held in six regions. The final stage was held at Prism Hall, part of the Tokyo Dome City complex, Tokyo on June 20, 2012.

Trivia

• Based on the distribution at the finals, seventeen copies of this card were awarded. Unlike the 2009 WCS final, the Video Game champions were also awarded this card. The only difference between the two was the trophy case the card was presented in: the TCG award presented in a red case with the Pokémon Trading Card Game logo on it, and the Video Game award presented in a blue case with the Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver logos on it.
• The gold foil stamp below the card text reads "Pokémon World Championship 2010 Japan National Tournament prize card".
