Misty's Staryu (Japanese: カスミのヒトデマン Kasumi's Hitodeman) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the Gym Challenge expansion.

Release information
This card was released in the Gym Challenge expansion with artwork by Ken Sugimori. In Japan, it was first released as a promotional card with different artwork by Ken Sugimori distributed alongside Brock's Onix in the March 1998 issue of CoroCoro comic. It was later included in the Hanada City Gym theme deck and Leaders' Stadium expansion with the artwork used on the English print.

Staryu's species name is mislabeled as "Starshape Pokémon," while its actual species name is the "Star Shape Pokémon."
Origin
Gym Leader Misty owns a Staryu in Pokémon Red and Blue.
