In Bogging Down Quagsire, after the battle against Team Galactic at Lake Acuity, Platinum, fainted Maylene and Candice with her, seeks shelter inside the Temple, due to the heavy snowfall. She hears a rumble coming from farther inside the Temple. She assumes it is a wild Pokémon and prepares to capture it if necessary. However, due to the strain of the battle, she is very weak and faints. The Poké Ball she is holding slips off her hand and rolls towards a large dark figure deeper within the temple.
Regigigas appears on the bottom floor as a statue and will not awaken unless the legendary golems—Regice, Regirock and Registeel—are in the player's party. The temple has six floors, one ground and five basements, and has many puzzles involving sliding on ice tiles.
The Snowpoint Temple is a temple at the northern-most point of the Sinnoh region. Throughout the temple are ice-sliding puzzles, and at one point Strength is necessary to obtain an item. The wild Pokémon that can be found inside the temple are mostly cave and Ice-type Pokémon. The Snowpoint Temple has no Trainers; only the chosen are permitted to enter the temple. On the bottom floor of the temple there is a immobilized statue of Regigigas. This Regigigas statue will animate when Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are all in the player's party and can be battled and captured.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
The Snowpoint Temple briefly appeared in A Pyramiding Rage!. Unlike the games, Maria is the Temple Guardian.
In Pillars of Friendship!, the Regigigas residing in it went on rampage after J destroyed the three pillars which protected it. However, it was calmed down by the end of the episode. Brandon later released his Regirock, Registeel and Regice to undertake the position of Regigigas's guardians.
