Shauna's Ivysaur (Japanese: サナフシギソウ Sana's Fushigisou) is Shauna's first Pokémon.
History
Ivysaur, as a Bulbasaur is the Starter Pokémon Shauna received from Professor Sycamore and made its debut in Summer of Discovery!. Its Energy Ball is powerful enough to stop Fennekin's Flamethrower. Bulbasaur is used again in the Triple Battle against Ash's Pikachu, Serena's Fennekin, and Clemont's Chespin alongside Tierno's Squirtle and Trevor's Charmander, where it lost to Pikachu.
It reappeared in Dreaming a Performer's Dream! where Shauna had it watch a Pokémon Showcase with her.
It reappeared in A Showcase Debut!, where it, along with Shauna's Flabébé, helped Shauna to win the Coumarine City Pokémon Showcase.
It appeared again in Tag Team Battle Inspiration!, where it was revealed to have evolved. It participates in a Double Battle with Serena's Eevee against Tierno's Blastoise and Ash's Pikachu.
Personality and characteristics
During the summer camp, Bulbasaur was friendly to its Trainer while acting cold towards all others.
In later appearances, Bulbasaur has warmed up to the gang.
