A Firebreather (Japanese: ひふきやろう Fire-breathing Guy) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games. In Generation II they were depicted as overweight clowns spewing out flames, while HeartGold and SoulSilver redesigned them and they now wear clothing designed after Magmar.
They specialize in Fire-type Pokémon. They may, however, use Poison-type Pokémon that produce smoke, like Koffing and Weezing, as well.
