Pidgey (Japanese: ポッポ Poppo) is a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Base Set.

Release information
This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. This card was included in the Trainer Deck B, which was given to prototype Pokémon Leagues before the North American release of the TCG. Like the rest of the cards in the deck, this print has a red border and "Trainer Deck B" printed on the back. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions.

Whirlwind is a move in the Pokémon games that Pidgey can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
