Starmie (Japanese: スターミー Starmie) is a Water-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Base Set.

Release information
This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was included in the Trainer Deck B with a red border and "Trainer Deck B" printed on the back. The deck was given to prototype Pokémon Leagues before the Base Set's official release. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion.

Origin
Recover is a move in the Pokémon games that Starmie can learn as a Staryu. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
