No Guard (Japanese: ノーガード No Guard) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. All moves used by or against a Pokémon with this ability cannot miss. It also allows Pokémon to be hit during the semi-invunerable turn of moves such as Fly or Dig. A Pokémon with No Guard can successfully hit an opponent's Pokémon that has used Protect or Detect , but only if that Pokémon uses a STAB move. Three Pokémon have this ability. Outside of battle, if the Pokémon with No Guard is leading the party, then No Guard decreases the wild Pokémon encounter rate (see also Quick Feet and White Smoke).
