Plus (Japanese: プラス Plus) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Plusle.
Effect
In battle
Generations III and IV
When a Pokémon with Plus enters a Double Battle and has an ally with Minus, the Special Attack stat of the Pokémon with Plus is increased by 50%.
Generation V onwards
When a Pokémon with Plus enters a battle and has an ally with Plus or Minus, the Special Attack stat of the Pokémon with Plus is increased by 50%.
The move Magnetic Flux raises the Defense and Special Defense of allied Pokémon with Plus or Minus by 1 stage, while the move Gear Up raises the Attack and Special Attack or target Pokémon with Plus or Minus by 1 stage.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
A Pokémon with this Ability will receive a 50% bonus to Special Attack if an allied Pokémon has Minus.
Outside of battle
Plus has no effect outside of battle.
