:::Then why was it okay to call Ash's Bulbasaur male and May's Bulbasaur female when they were never reffered to as such? Same with Jessie's Wobbuffet. That's my question. Personally I think this is stupid. Why should we always have to base it on what characters say or gender differences? Look at the mannerisms. There's your proof! Take Dawn's Buneary. What gender usually prances around in dresses? Girls most of the time. I'm not against the idea of them being gay but it's probably most likely that they are the gender that they act like. --☆ケンジガール 02:11, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Come on people. Can we please say that this Meowth is male? We have Pokémon who have way less evidence of their gender and yet we lable them as male or female. Such as May and Ash's Bulbasaurs. So why isn't it okay here.

Just look at the evidence. If it was female then don't you think Meowth would have been in love with it? Not to mention that its seiyū is male and Blaustein manipulated her voice to sound way deeper when playing this Meowth. Then comes the "Puss in Boots" factor. He was MALE. This Pokémon is based on the Puss in Boots character therfore, I imagine that this Meowth is male as well. --ケンジガール 01:08, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
