A Battle Starter is a combination starter set from the Next Quest expansion of the Pokémon Trading Figure Game. It is a combination of the figures found in Flamethrower and Riptide.
As a starter set, it contains nine figures with bases, including six Pokémon, two Pokémon Trainers and one Referee, a two-sided playmat with a green 6-on-6 arena on one side and an orange 3-on-3 quick start arena on the other, a 2-sided collector's sheet with a how-to-play guide on one side and a figure checklist on the other, and a rulebook. Also included are a cloth version of the green 6-on-6 arena and a complete set of the eight Trainer cards from the Next Quest expansion.
