It feels a bit redundant to have the Pokégear/PokéNav/Vs. Seeker rematch note appear automatically in every single instance of this template. I feel like it would be better if it were optional, only appearing in Trainer lists for which it's actually applicable. Not only would it save space, it would avoid potential confusion. Colosseum and XD rematches
This template needs to be expanded to include options for Colosseum and XD. Neither of those games requires and additional item (pokegear, nav, vs. seeker) to have rematches. Therefore, there should be a way to mark a trainer in these games as being available for a rematch with an appropriate message in the footer of the this template. --PagodaGiftShop 00:36, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Black and White
We need to add an option for Black and White Versions, which have standard methods for rematching trainers. Currently pages are using the DPPt/FRLG option, but that doesn't work given that the Vs. Seeker doesn't appear in those games. --AndyPKMN (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Shadow Locationcolor compatiblity
