Route 225 (Japanese: ２２５ばんどうろ Route 225) is a route in northeastern Sinnoh, located in the Battle Zone. It connects the Fight Area and the Survival Area.

Route description

A mountainous route that connects the Fight Area and Survival Area. In the southern part of the route, there are multiple small, raised areas connected by bridges. In the middle of the route, there is a house and a small lake. In the northern part of the route, there are two patches of grass and a ledge.

The player is prevented from accessing the route until they have visited the Battle Tower^DPBDSP/Frontier^Pt and obtained the National Pokédex.

• In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Ace Trainer Deanna's Tropius is contained in a Cherish Ball, likely as a reference to Shokotan's Tropius, the first event Pokémon to be contained in a Cherish Ball.
  • This makes her only the NPC Trainer in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to keep a Pokémon in a ball that isn’t a regular Poké Ball as well as the only NPC trainer to use a Cherish Ball and more then one type of Poké Ball.
• In the Japanese version of Pokémon Platinum, it is possible to battle Ace Trainer Deanna infinitely until the player blacks out.
