Porygon was a prototype created by [[Dr. Akihabara]] and stolen by Team Rocket. [[Ash Ketchum|Ash]] and [[Ash's friends|his friends]] borrowed a non-prototype Porygon to go inside the computer world to find it. When they encountered the trio, Jessie and James first sent out {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} and {{TP|James|Weezing}} to battle, but Porygon defeated them with {{m|Conversion}} and {{m|Tackle}}.  Jessie then sent out her own Porygon to battle Ash and friends, complete with its own TR flag on its tail.
