The Lax Incense (Japanese: のんきのおこう Carefree Incense) is a type of held item introduced in Generation III. It is an incense that allows Wobbuffet to produce Wynaut Eggs. In battle, its effect is identical to the Bright Powder.

Reduces the accuracy of moves targeting the holder by 5% of what their accuracy would be otherwise.
Generation IV onward
Reduces the accuracy of moves targeting the holder by 10% of what their accuracy would be otherwise.
Outside of battle
If held by either parent of a pairing in Pokémon Day Care or the Pokémon Nursery that would produce a Wobbuffet Egg, a Wynaut Egg is produced instead.

Trivia
- This incense shares the name of a nature in English, French, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. In French, the nature is Mild, and in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, the nature is Relaxed.
- Coincidentally, each nature affects the Defense stat one way or the other and none of them affect the Attack stat.
