The Defense Mechanism of Altomare, or DMA for short, was featured in the film Pokémon Heroes. It was built centuries ago to protect the town from a flood. In the movie Oakley tried to destroy the city with it but failed.
In the end of the film Annie and Oakley are both trapped in it and in the credits the police are seen arresting them.
