Zero to Hero マイティチェンジ
Mighty Change
Flavor text
Generation IX
The Pokémon transforms into its Hero Form when it switches out.

Zero to Hero (Japanese: マイティチェンジ Mighty Change) is an Ability introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature Ability of Palafin.

Effect

In battle

This Ability effect may be in need of research.
Reason: Does the transformation still happen if Palafin switches out due to fainting (and is then revived and sent back out)? Also check to confirm if this Ability can't be ignored/replaced/suppressed/copied/etc.
You can discuss this on the talk page.

After switching out for the first time in battle, a Palafin with the Ability switches to its Hero Form until the end of battle. This includes through the use of moves that switch the user out, such as Baton Pass and Flip Turn, and moves used by opposing Pokémon that force it to switch, such as Whirlwind and Dragon Tail.

Role Play, Skill Swap, and Entrainment fail if either Pokémon has Zero to Hero. Zero to Hero cannot be copied by Trace, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver. Zero to Hero cannot be replaced by Mummy or Lingering Aroma or traded by Wandering Spirit.

Outside of battle

Zero to Hero has no effect outside of battle.
