Lanette (Japanese: マユミ Mayumi) is a technician who lives in a house on Route 114 near Fallarbor Town. She upgraded Bill's Pokémon storage system, giving it a user friendly graphical interface and the ability to store more Pokémon and change the wallpaper of the Boxes Pokémon are stored in.
Her house gets very cluttered while doing research. In return for keeping it a secret, she'll give the main character of Pokémon Ruby a Seedot Doll, and Pokémon Sapphire and Pokémon Emerald a Lotad Doll.
She is the younger sister of Bridgette. Like her sister, her name is a pun. A "LAN" is a small, self-contained computer network.
