Mamoru Miyano (Japanese: 宮野真守 Miyano Mamoru) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Miyano was born on June 8, 1983, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He joined the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: Black & White, where his only major role was that of Ash's traveling partner Cilan. However, Miyano went on to provide the voice of Lear in Pokémon Masters EX.
He is a prolific voice actor and has won several awards for his performances over the years, such as the "Best Voice Actor" award for his role as Light Yagami from Death Note and Setsuna F. Seiei from the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00; and "Best Lead Actor Award" for his role as Setsuna in the second season of Gundam 00 and Rikuson Hakugen from Kōtetsu Sangokushi.
