In Japan, it was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card through a Toyota Auto Campaign between October and December 1997. This card, along with Pikachu, came sealed in a card booklet presented to visitors at participating dealerships. It was later reprinted as one of a selection of cards included in the Pokémon Song Best Collection CD, released on January 1, 1999.

Trivia
The Japanese print erroneously has ィ instead of イ in Arcanine's name. This error is also present in the Japanese version of Pokémon Trading Card Game and its sequel Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!
Origin
Quick Attack is a move in the Pokémon games, though Arcanine cannot learn it.
