Akira Komayama (Japanese: こまやま明) is a freelance artist who has been contributing illustrations to the Pokémon Trading Card Game since 2011.
Akira was born in 1981, spent eight years working as a designer and CG artist for a game company before going freelance in 2009, doing both illustration and graphic design. He currently resides in Tokyo.
Cards illustrated
Komayama has illustrated 226 cards, including reprints. Some examples of his work include:
- Eevee (Call of Legends reprint)
- Magby (Call of Legends reprint)
- Pansage (BW-P Promotional cards)
