Yumi Tsukirino (Japanese: 月梨野 ゆみ) is a manga author of the manga series Magical Pokémon Journey and Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪. Her birthday is January 5 1950, her blood type is O and her hobbies include watching horse racing. Some of her favorite Pokémon are Arbok and Sandslash.
Before and during her work on the Magical Pokémon Journey manga, Tsukirino started playing the Green version of Pokémon. Her starter Pokémon was Squirtle. According to the bonus chapters of the manga, the hardest parts of the game for her were finding the Card Key in Silph Co. and fighting Lorelei.
