Ash and ashfr finally make it out of the haunted forest from the previous episode and notice a huge city nearby. Brock says that it is called Florando. Misty suggest that they should relax and enjoy the city. Like always, Brock is excited to see all the beautiful girls there. As Ash, Misty, and Brock enter the city, they find out there is an exhibition going on, with different types of Pokémon shows. Ash and friends are excited to see all the shows, and Ash even wants to be part of a show with all his Pokémon. Misty and Brock agree with Ash doing a live show, but he really wants to do a TV show. Misty quickly says, "Who would watch anything like that?"
Ash and ashfr make it out of a forest and arrive in Florando. As they enter the city, a local girl hands them a pamphlet advertising Florando's annual Pokémon Exhibition, an outdoor performance festival. Excited, the trio makes their way to a giant square where the exhibition is held, and are particularly interested by a pair of acrobatic and dancing Bellossom. One of the Bellossom is asked to do a trick, but it fails to complete it and lands in Ash's arms, knocking him to the ground. The girl commanding the Bellossom rushes over to Ash, asking him if he is alright. He says he is and hands Bellossom back to her.

Continuing on, they start seeing all types of Pokémon shows with different types of Pokémon. As they are watching the shows, they notice some Bellossom jumping up and down. Misty suggests that they should head over and get a better look. Ash and his friends watch the two Bellossom perform and do amazing acrobatic dances. One of the Bellossom is asked to do a "Bell-oop-de-loop". However, the Bellossom fails to complete the move and quickly land in Ash's arms and he falls to the ground. The girl commanding the Bellossom rushes over to Ash, asking him if he is alright. He tells her that he is fine and made "a lucky catch". The girl thanks Ash for catching her Bellossom. Ash and his friends thank her for giving them a good show. The girl introduces her self as Bailey, and her two Bellossom as Bella and Belle. Ash and his friends also introduce themselves, but Brock says, "Who cares about the Pokémon?" and starts flirting with Bailey. Misty angrily grabs Brock and asks him what he meant about not caring about Pokémon. Ash asks Bailey if they were going to perform the same trick tomorrow at the show. Bailey says that this was their intent, but Bella is having trouble performing her special move.
Over some drinks, the girl introduces herself as Bailey and her two Bellossom as Bella and Belle, and thanks Ash for catching her Bellossom. After Ash and his friends thank her for the show, Ash asks Bailey if they are going to perform the same trick tomorrow at the show. Bailey says it was their intent, but reveals that Bella is having trouble performing her special move.

As usual, TRT is up to no good when they enter the exhibition. They are planning to enter the show to make money. They use MTR's rare gift of speech to attract a crowd. People start to gather around but Meowth gets stage fright and disappoints the audience. Jessie angrily ask what Meowth's problem is. She quickly gives Meowth some jokes to tell and orders him to make the people laugh. Meowth goes and starts telling the jokes, and the crowd is surprised to see a Meowth talking. However, all of the jokes are terrible and the crowd starts booing and leaving. Jessie quickly tells them it's not a free show, but the crowd refuses to pay because they don't see anything funny about Meowth's performance. James tells them not to leave because Meowth is just warming up. James whispers a joke to Meowth and Meowth tells it. However, Meowth messes it up, and the crowd leaves. James and Meowth start arguing with each other. Jessie says that she and James could have done better with a dancing routine, which they take to heart. Ash says that it's a good idea, and Bailey ask them who they were, and Team Rocket does their motto. Ash is about to blast them away using Pikachu, but Bailey and the other performers want to do it themselves. Team Rocket accepts a battle from them. A performer uses his Alakazam's Psychic attack to knock them off their feet. Jessie and James quickly stand up and make Jessie and James attack. Bailey uses her two Bellossom and tells them to dodge the attack by using their dancing moves, which ends up being a successful strategy. The Bellossom then use Sleep Powder, making Team Rocket quickly leave. The crowd like the performance battle that Bailey did and they give her a round of applause. Ash and his friends also enjoy the performance and say that they deserve a hand.
Meanwhile, TRT enters the exhibition with the hopes of making money. They quickly set up a stage and use MTR's rare gift of speech to attract a crowd. People start to gather around, but Meowth gets stage fright and disappoints the audience. A frustrated Jessie gives Meowth some jokes to tell and orders him to make the people laugh. Meowth does so, surprising the crowd, but all of the jokes are terrible and the crowd starts booing and leaving. Jessie tries telling them it is not a free show, but the crowd refuses to pay out of disappointment from Meowth's performance. James whispers a joke to Meowth in desperation and Meowth tells it, but he messes it up, and the last of the onlookers leave. Jessie says that she and James could have done better with a dancing routine, but their enthusiasm worries Meowth.

Team Rocket is seen later eating meat balls in a dark valley. They finally admit that their schemes have put them into debt. Then, they see a flyer and suggest they should go and steal all the Pokémon. Bailey's Bellossom are seen playing with Pikachu and Misty. Bailey says that her dream is to be the best performer ever. Ash wants to know how her Bellossom were able to dodge Team Rocket's attacks. She says that dancing is similar to batting because the movement of the Pokémon's feet. She suggest that Ash and his friends should watch her practice a performance. Bailey teaches Pikachu Bellossom's routine so he can use it in battle. Bailey then starts practicing her special move, but again it fails. Bella is disappointed that the move keeps failing, but Bailey says not to worry because they won't do it in the show.
Later, Team Rocket commandeers a bulldozer and drives through Florando's streets, performing their motto. Ash is about to blast them off using Pikachu, but Bailey and the other performers want to do it themselves; Team Rocket accepts their challenge. A performer uses his Alakazam's Psychic to knock them off their feet. Jessie and James quickly stand up and send out Jessie and James. Bailey uses her two Bellossom and has them dodge the attacks using their dancing moves before spraying Team Rocket with Sleep Powder, forcing the trio to quickly leave. The crowd mistakes the events for a performance battle and gives Bailey a round of applause. Later, as Team Rocket mopes about their latest defeat, they find a flyer advertising the Florando Exhibition, and the trio decides to steal all of the performing Pokémon.

Team Rocket is again up to no good and are disguised as announcers of the Pokémon Exhibition. They bring on all the contestants and their Pokémon, and then Meowth drops a net from above and steals the Pokémon in the festival. Team Rocket starts to leave, but Ash uses Heracross to throw Pikachu up in the air where Team Rocket is, so Pikachu can use Thunderbolt on their balloon and stop their speedy escape. Ash tells them to give back all the Pokémon, but they refuse and send Arbok and Victreebel to attack. Pikachu uses the moves from the dance routine to dodge the attacks of Arbok and Victreebel. However, Victreebel uses Wrap and grabs Pikachu's feet, and Arbok attacks with Bite. Bailey is able to free Belle and Bella, and tells them to use their special move. Luckily, their move is a success and the Bellossom successfully attack Arbok. Jessie has Arbok return, Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, and Bellossom use their 'Tornado Twister' dance move, which sends Team Rocket blasting off. Bailey says that Belle and Bella can finally perform the "Bell-oop-de-Loop" successfully. In the end the narrator says that Ash can learn from this performance.
Meanwhile, at Bailey's van, her Bellossom play with Pikachu and Misty while Ash and his friends talk things over with Bailey, who says that her dream is to be the best performer ever. Ash wants to know how her Bellossom were able to dodge Team Rocket's attacks, and Bailey says that dancing is similar to battling because of the movement of the Pokémon's feet. She suggests that Ash and his friends should watch her practice. The next day, Bailey teaches Bellossom's routine to Pikachu so he can use it in battle. After a shaky start, Pikachu proves to be a natural. Bailey starts practicing her special move, "Bell-oop-de-loop", but again it fails. As a result, Bailey decides not to do it in the show.

The Florando Exhibition begins, with Team Rocket posing as the show's announcers, with the real ones tied up and held backstage. They bring all of the contestants and their Pokémon onstage, where Meowth drops a net from above and steals the performing Pokémon. Team Rocket starts to leave in their Meowth balloon, but Ash has Heracross throw Pikachu into the air. Pikachu soars past the trio, grabs the balloon, and uses Thunderbolt to pop it. Ash, his friends, and Bailey rush to the crash-site nearby, but Jessie and James are unfazed and call for a battle. Team Rocket sends out Victreebel, who latches onto James's head, and Arbok.

Thanks to Bailey's training, Pikachu is able to dodge Arbok's Poison Sting and Victreebel's Take Down with ease. As the two try to use Tackle, Pikachu jumps up, causing Arbok and Victreebel to collide into each other. At James's insistence, Victreebel uses Wrap to grab Pikachu's feet, and Arbok tries to use Bite. However, Bailey is able to free Belle and Bella during the chaos, and tells them to use their special move. Their move is a success and the Bellossom successfully hit Arbok out of the way. Jessie recalls Arbok before Pikachu lands a Thunderbolt on Victreebel. Next, Bellossom use their "Tornado Twister" dance move, which sends Team Rocket blasting off. The other performers are reunited with their Pokémon, and the Florando Exhibition goes on. Bailey has Belle and Bella perform the "Bell-oop-de-Loop" successfully onstage.

Our heroes must help prepare an insecure Bellossom dance troupe for their upcoming exhibition—a chore that's further complicated when Team Rocket attempts to steal the show with their raucous act.

Plot

Ash and his friends make it out of a forest and arrive in Florando.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket enters the exhibition with the hopes of making money. They quickly set up a stage and use Meowth's rare gift of speech to attract a crowd.

Jessie and James quickly stand up and send out Arbok and Victreebel.
