Oscar (Japanese: オスカー Oscar) and Andi (Japanese: アンドリュー Andrieux) are a young couple from Hoenn who are deeply in love with each other. They are the characters of the day in The Bicker the Better. Oscar's English voice actor is Wayne Grayson and Andi's English voice actress is Kate Petterle. Oscar's Japanese voice actor is 千葉一伸 Isshin Chiba and Andi's Japanese voice actress is 川瀬晶子 Akiko Kawase. They have been based off the Young Couple trainer class, though they are much better dressed than the game class.
Oscar and Andi love taking part in double battles with their Nidoking and Nidoqueen. They also claim to have a knack for spotting couples in love. When they spotted Ash and May arguing, they claimed that each had romantic feelings for the other. Ash and May's persistent arguing, combined with this accusation, diminished their concentration, and the enamored couple were able to defeat them without a problem. Similarly, they saw Jessie and James, and claimed that, they too, were a couple. Even though Team Rocket was able to look past this, they were still defeated.
