Tangelo Island (Japanese: ボンタン島 Bontan Island) is located in the south-westernmost region of the Orange Archipelago.
Tangelo Island is a very popular tourist destination, mainly due to large theme parks and its use as a docking point for cruise ships. Many young trainers begin their journeys here.
In the Anime
During his journey around the Orange Islands, Ash and Pikachu visit the island briefly and are promptly swamped by camera-toting tourists. Here he meets Tracey and his Lapras.
