Trest, often referred to as the Mayor, is a key non-player character in Pokémon XD. He lives and works in Phenac City, in Orre.
He gives a key item, the Mayor's Note, to Michael to give to Justy.
When first encountered, his house contains several Cipher agents, who leave behind Battle CDs after being defeated. Inside, there is a boom box, which plays alternate music when the player obtains the Music Disc. Speaking with the Mayor will also open up a new area on the Orre map.
