Explotaro (Japanese: ) was one of the Pokémon that Gold has received in the Pokémon Special manga.
History
As a Cyndaquil, it partnered up with Gold to fight Silver when he stole Prof. Elm's Totodile. Gold kept it afterwards and nicknamed it "Explotaro". Explotaro evolved into a Quilava at the Goldenrod Daycare Center, and later evolved into its final stage, Typhlosion, battling Lugia at the Whirl Islands.
