The Dragon's Den (Japanese: りゅうのあな Dragon's Hole) is a location in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
After defeating Blackthorn City's Gym, the player is granted access to the underground den. At the end of the Den's maze is the home and shrine of the Master of the Dragon User Clan, who will then give the player a quiz on the treatment of their Pokémon, and the players attitude to their Pokémon.
There are only three kinds of wild Pokémon to be found in the water: Magikarp, Dragonair, and Dratini. Dratini and Dragonair are pure Template:Type2s and Magikarp evolves into Gyarados, which learns some Dragon-type moves.
Skilled Trainers are in the Dragon's Den. Players should heal their Pokémon and bring Super Potions or Hyper Potions and Parlyz Heals before entering.
In Generation II, Silver is found here on some days, contemplating his training.
In Crystal, players can enter the building in the den, where the Dragon Master will give them a Dratini with ExtremeSpeed for answering his questions correctly.
