The Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare (DMA for short) is a machine that was featured in Pokémon Heroes.
The DMA was built centuries before the events in the film took place. Its purpose was to protect the city of Alto Mare from a flood. Oakley tried to use the machine to destroy the city, but her plans failed.
Annie and Oakley were both trapped in the DMA at the end of the movie, and during the credits, police can be seen arresting them.
The DMA has the ability to make metal barriers appear around the city, and can even control water.
