This card was also released as a Promotional card with different artwork, also by Kagemaru Himeno. In Japan, it came with Volume 2 of How I Became a Pokémon Card, released in September 1999. The English version was available through the Pokémon League in September 2000. This card was also reprinted in the Legendary Collection reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.

Origin
Fury Swipes is a move in the Pokémon games that Psyduck is able to learn. This card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded.
