The master is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. He is voiced by 松本大 Dai Matsumoto in Japanese.

The master is a resident of Twinleaf Town who first appeared in DP138. He is also the orchestrator of the Twinleaf Town Festival. He hired Team Rocket to fish for Goldeen so that they could be given out as prizes during the festival. In DP140, he had Brock run one of his booths.
