Another One Gabites the Dust! (Japanese: ポケモンコンテスト！ アケビ大会!! Pokémon Contest! Akebi Tournament!!) is the 114th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 580th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on February 12, 2009 and in the United States on July 11, 2009.

Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis Dawn is feeling more ready than ever for the Chocovine Town Contest, and so are Buneary and Pachirisu. However things get a lot more intense when Dawn also develops a rivalry with another coordinator, Ursula. However this rivalry is a very unfriendly one, as Ursula makes no secret of the fact that she believes Dawn's win at the Wallace Cup (which Ursula also entered, yet failed to get past the Appeal rounds) was a complete fluke. As a result, Dawn is determined to show the arrogant coordinator what she is capable of, with the help of Pachirisu's new move...

  • The dub uses its Battle Frontier during the second round montage, with some lyrics modified to sidestep references to the Battle Frontier.

• This is the first Contest since her trade in Throwing the Track Switch that Dawn did not use Ambipom in.
• The dub's title is based on Queen's song, Another One Bites the Dust.
• Dawn's Buneary uses the similar appeal to the one in the Wallace Cup.

Errors

• Even though Gabite stepped on the Poffin with its right foot, the Poffin was seen under its left foot when Ursula looked at it.
