Noriko Hidaka (Japanese: 日高のり子 Hidaka Noriko) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Hidaka was born as Noriko Itō (伊東 範子 Itō Noriko) on May 31, 1962, in the Kudan area of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, to Western-style clothing store owners. She attended Fujimi Elementary School as a child. As an adult, she started a career as an idol singer, but eventually switched to a voice acting career. Hidaka soon became known for her roles in several Japanese anime series. In addition to voice acting, she did some narration and voice-over work. She joined the Pokémon anime and voiced characters during the original series and Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, most notably Tory Lund during the seventh movie. Hidaka is currently affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce.
