Forest's Curse (Japanese: もりののろい Forest's Curse) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Phantump and Trevenant.
Effect
Forest's Curse adds the Grass type to the target, in addition to the Pokémon's original type(s). Forest's Curse will fail if the target is already Grass-type. If it is used against a dual-type Pokémon, that Pokémon will have three types at once. If the target already has an additional type added to it by Trick-or-Treat, that type is replaced with the Grass type. This additional type can be copied by Reflect Type.
If powered up by a Grassium Z into Z-Forest's Curse, the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed are raised by one stage each.
Forest's Curse will always fail if the target is Terastallized, regardless of its type, and its effect is removed upon Terastallizing.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
