If the foe hurts itself in its confusion, does this still count as an attacking turn as far as Payback is concerned? Recalcitrancy 16:32, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Here's an interesting question... If a move such as Acrobatics or Payback receives STAB, does the 1.5x multiplier add to the 2x multiplier or do they multiply? E.g. if Payback receives STAB, will the power be 50*2.5=125 or 50*2*1.5=150? I'd appreciate if someone can help here. Migrant 13:57, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
:It would be multiplied, so 150. <font color="#d0000d" face="chiller">Pikiwyn</font> <tt><font color="black">talk</font></tt> 14:08, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Could a "Trivia" section be added to this page? I was hoping to write a small peice about how Sableye uses this move to it's advantage. "In Generation IV games, Sableye can learn Payback via TM 66, which could always be used with double the power depending on the ability Sableye has. If Sableye has the ability Stall, which reduces speed to stike after the foe, the power of Payback will always be 100. However, if Sableye has the ability Keen Eye, which prevents loss of accuracy, the power of Payback will be 50 unless the Sableye is faster than the foe." - - unsigned comment from Tesh (talk • contribs)
- That'd be kind of the same as putting on every single move that has recoil damage that a Pokémon with Rock Head won't get any recoil. If an ability and move, or even two moves, can work together, that's pretty much up to someone to figure out themselves.
Good point, thanks for that, I'm still trying to figuire out how to use Bulbapedia. - - unsigned comment from Tesh (talk • contribs)

Double Damage for switching?!
DOes it do this? Does this have Pursuit's priority in said case? I question this. Can someone test this? Inquiring minds need to know so that they can choose between it or Pursuit...--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 07:00, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
