Alcremie's sweet "hair decoration" and eye color directly depends on the Sweet used, whereas Alcremie's forms depends on the [[time]] of day, the length of the spin, and the direction of the spin. If the Milcery in question is {{Shiny}}, the resulting Shiny Alcremie's form would always look the same, regardless of what form it has, with only the Sweet used to evolve the Milcery forming any real distinct difference.

Mechanics

When sweets are held by a Milcery, if the player moves in tight circles and begins spinning, Milcery will evolve into Alcremie when they stop spinning. This consumes the held sweet.

Alcremie's form is determined when it evolves from Milcery. The sweets on its head and its eye color depend on the sweet used, while the cream type depends on the time of day, the length of the spin, and the direction of the spin.

Acquisition

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, the player can obtain the Strawberry, Love, Berry, Clover, and Flower Sweets by winning at a Battle Café. Additionally, the player can obtain a single Strawberry Sweet in Hammerlocke. In The Isle of Armor, the player can obtain any of the sweets using the Cram-o-matic in the Master Dojo. In The Crown Tundra, the player can buy a sweet as a "Today's Highlight" option from the Watt Trader at Snowslide Slope. All sweets could be obtained by completing Wild Area News-exclusive Milcery Max Raid Battles (held from January 31 to February 16, 2020); this was the only way to obtain the Ribbon and Star Sweets until The Isle of Armor DLC released.

In The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, sweets can be found scattered throughout the Terarium. Additionally, they can all be obtained with the Item Printer in the League Club Room.

Strawberry Sweets in the anime

A Strawberry Sweet first appeared in The Sweet Taste of Battle!, decorating a cupcake that Goh was eating. When his newly caught Milcery showed interest in it, he placed it on her head and then spun around with her to celebrate making a new friend, inadvertently triggering her evolution into Alcremie in the process.

Four Strawberry Sweets appeared in a flashback in The Bittersweet Truth. Murdock's Milcery grabbed one of them and spun around with it, triggering her evolution into Alcremie.
