I read it again and I found in SM volume 1, round 3, page 56, Moon said that Rotom is not her Pokemon. So it’s justified, Rotom just travel with her, not as her team member Pokemon. :At the time of volume 1, Rotom was just delivered to Kukui so of course at the time Rotom isn't officially her pokemon. The same goes for when PokeSPedia was released, which had information up to around the first Japanese mini-volume of the, at the time, Sun & Moon chapter and not the final volume of the USUM chapter. About Rotom
I read it again and I found in SM volume 1, round 3, page 56, Moon said that Rotom is not her Pokemon. So it’s justified, Rotom just travel with her, not as her team member Pokemon. - At the time of volume 1, Rotom was just delivered to Kukui so of course at the time Rotom isn't officially her pokemon.
