The Origin Ball (Japanese: オリジンボール Origin Ball) is a Key Item introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is a Poké Ball created using Origin Ore and the Red Chain.
In the core series games
Effect
Catches either Origin Forme Palkia (if the player chose to seek the materials for the Red Chain with Adaman) or Origin Forme Dialga (if the player chose Irida) at the Temple of Sinnoh during a cutscene in Mission 18: "The Counterpart". It cannot be used to catch any other Pokémon, as the player is not allowed to select and throw it.
