If this card is discarded from play, put it into your hand instead of the discard pile.

Release information

This card was included in the Neo Genesis expansion, first released in the Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World... expansion. A Holofoil version with no expansion symbol was given away during the September 2002 Pokémon League season.

A new version of the card with a slightly differing effect was printed during the Sun & Moon Era as both a Regular card and a Full Art Secret card in the Unified Minds expansion, first released in the Japanese Sky Legend subset. Both of these prints feature new artwork by an uncredited illustrator. The Unified Minds Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese Tag All Stars subset.

As the Neo Genesis version of the card had not received an errata, the Unified Minds prints of the card are not considered to be the same card as the Neo Genesis print for the purposes of sanctioned tournament play. The Neo Genesis version thus remains illegal in both Standard and Expanded play.[1]
